In the United States, the modern tradition of Thanksgiving has its origins in 1621, at a celebration in Plymouth, in the present state of Massachusetts. There is also evidence that Spanish explorers in Texas celebrated the continent earlier in 1598, and thanksgiving in the colony of Virginia.7 The feast in 1621 was celebrated in thanksgiving for a good harvest. In later years, tradition continued with such civilian leaders as Governor William Bradford, who planned to celebrate the day and help in 1623.8 9 10 Since at first the Plymouth colony did not have enough food to feed half of the 102 Colonists, the natives of the Wampanoag tribe helped the pilgrims by giving them seeds and teaching them how to fish. The practice of holding a harvest festival like this did not become a regular tradition in New England until the late 1660s.

 

According to historian Jeremy Bangs, director of the Leiden American Pilgrim Museum, pilgrims may have been inspired by annual Thanksgiving services for the relief of the siege of Leiden in 1574, when they lived in Leiden.12

Controversy over the origin 

The site of the first day of Thanksgiving in the United States, and even on the continent, is a subject of constant debate. Writers and professors Robyn Gioia and Michael Gannon of the University of Florida have pointed out that the first celebration of this day in what is currently the United States was carried out by the Spanish on September 8, 1565, in what today Is St. Augustine, Florida.13 14

My first love

First love.
Because according to me the first boyfriend is very different from the first love, this in response to the previous one
Well my first love I still remember it !! Aunqe unfortunately I'm not with him and I do not know about him, he went away but when he was with me it was fabulous. When you fall in love for the first time, leaves you many things memories and those are forever, you become cheesy of the worst and then what else can I say ... even drew a big smile on my face with just remember. So you are left with a memory of a clean relationship based only on the essence of the other person ... unfortunately to us the distance we separated and nimodo! Aunqe we are not together well say the first love is never forgotten.

Spain , officially the Kingdom of Spain is asovereign state largely located on the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe, with two large archipelagos, the Balearic Islandsin the Mediterranean Sea and the Canary Islands off the North African Atlantic coast, two cities Ceuta and Melilla in the North African mainland and several small islands in the Alboran Sea near the Moroccan coast. Its mainland is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar; to the north and northeast by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west and northwest by Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean. Grinch Story

As the grinch robbed the Christmas!!!

The Grinch is a shaggy, hairy green creature with a "two-smallest" heart that lives in a cave on top of a mountain north of Whoville, home to the happy and affectionate "Who" ... and his only Company is your faithful dog, Max.

From his lair, on top of Mount Crumpit, he can hear the noisy Christmas preparations taking place in Villaquien. Envy of the joy of the "Who", plans to go down to the village, and steal all the decorations and gifts and thus prevent Christmas coming.

But it did not have the curiosity of a small one: Cindy Lou, who investigates on its past and arrives to discover that as a child The Grinch was the laughingstock of the children of the school in Villaquien, by its different aspect ... One of the chapters Most remembered and hated by him was when he made an angel to give it to Martha May, the only child who did not laugh at him, seeing how polite he was; The Grinch tried shaving to be presentable to the people, and when everyone saw him, again

They laughed again and made fun of the poor ... and since then The Grinch climbed up Mount Crumpit, settled there and gave up Christmas, the world and the Who, who were so cruel to him.

Feeling pity for the Grinch, and knowing that she was the only one who understood her problem, Cindy Lou invited him to the "Joy Who" party, to be the "Merry Master of Christmas". The Grinch goes reluctantly, wins the title of Cheer Master and even begins to have fun, but the mayor again ridicules him giving him a razor, and The Grinch remembers that when he was little They laughed at him for cutting himself off when he shaved and he got angry again.

TERRORISM AND THE PEACE 

Zak Ebrahim  to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1983 to him, an Egyptian engineer, and a loving American mother and grade school teacher, who together tried their best to create a happy childhood for me. It wasn't until I was seven years old that our family dynamic started to change. His father exposed me to a side of Islam that few people, including the majority of Muslims, get to see. It's been my experience that when people take the time to interact with one another, it doesn't take long to realize that for the most part, we all want the same things out of life.

Zak Ebrahim it's not your real name .He changed it whith family decided to end our connection with his father and start a new life. Well, that's simple. He do it in the hopes that perhaps someone someday who is compelled to use violence may hear his story and realize that there is a better way, that although He had been subjected to this violent, intolerant ideology, that I did not become fanaticized. Instead. He choose to use my experience to fight back against terrorism, against the bigotry.
